Markus Fuerderer Demonstrates The Cubeoled Luminaire

Markus Fuerderer, the architect of the highlighted work Luminaire by Markus Fuerderer spells out, Depth, Transparency and Contrast - Cubeoled interprets these fundamentals of visible light in a pure, subtle, volumetric design. 12 transparent organic light emitting diode (OLED) panels are arranged in an orthogonal coordinate system and laminated in between 8 optical/clear crystal glass cubes. Via transparent circuit paths applied on the inner glass surfaces, the assembled OLED panels inside the resin-laminated monolith are supplied with electricity. When activated, the integral array transforms this transparent monolith into an omni-directional light source..
